Be careful what you wish for, for indeed it will appear.

Motivation comes from within.  It is time to change your dialogue in your mind.  Uplifting and positive directions can be sought but remaining in negative mode in mind, will not manifest positive.

that's so true... positive thoughts make all the difference in the world. Just take a deep breath and start afresh.

yes. my husband also tells me that. he keeps saying: "think positive. focus on the good things. is being down and depressed and regretful will help you achieve your goal? or is it going to change the situation?" and i instantly realize that what i was doing is wrong. i have to think positively and move on. and that's what i do then. i get so much inspiration from him. he is such a nice person, always positive, always motivated, always seeing things from the broader perspective and never, ever angry. i am indebted to him for a lot of things. my entire motivation comes from him. i feel so lucky that i got to be his wife. i just love him so much. and i'm missing him at the moment coz he is having a holiday at home and i'm working. :(

Motivation

Post by Mistresspanthermoon » Sat Dec 11, 2010 7:35 am

Motivation is something that you must create within yourself. If you are bored with your life or job, you must manifest the changes within yourself to lift that feeling. The best advice is to start thinking positive, but along with that you must make some positive changes.

If you home is boring you, spruce it up. Give it a good cleaning, and rearrange furniture, decor, paint, or add a decorative border to a small space. If your routine is boring you, change it. Add new activities to your life. Add a new exercise routine, something different that you haven't tried before.  If your job is boring, try something different, maybe even a different field, or you can create new challenges at your current job.

You have to sit down and be honest with yourself to find out what the key problem is linked to before you can ultimately fix it, however sometimes our minds will not come straight out and tell us, so we have to make a few alterations here and there to find out what we need to do differently.

I hope this helps.

Blessings,
Mistress Panthermoon

motivation comes from people and from some activities too. I feel good and focused when I give time to my kittens in the morning and have a cup of tea with my husband, reading the newspaper :)

higher chances of fruitfulness. what else? success can't be guaranteed. but higher the chances are, higher the hope is. and what can be greater motivation than hope? money and/or recognition at work, reciprocation in love/relationships, victory in a challenge. don't you feel so? the less the chances the less the motivation.

hi! it's been one year. wow

Post by Rising_Sun » Mon Jul 04, 2011 9:32 am

so I was just checking out this board

it's been ages since the last time i posted here

& i find this thread

wow
it's been one year and a month since I posted this thread.
and let me tell you
I feel completely different now.

I followed your advises of starting thinking postive
and now i feel way more positive and motivaded than eva

i think i manifested quite a few positive things in my life during this year

more money, more goals and challenges
i don't feel the stagnation i used to feel
& you know what
i won't even write that word again ever bc law of attraction

so anyway
i'm gonna share with you the other things that helped me change my mental frame of boredom & lameness
bc you guys have been SO NICE TO ME
& i love ya'all even if i don't know you
and because this might help other people too

so yeah
i started making positive affirmations on a daily basis.
ala louise hay

start reading louise hay

she's good

I started saying stuff like
"i love myself"
"i am love, my body I love you"
"i am beautiful and I become more beautiful everyday"
"i am successful in everything i do"
"i'm a magnet for success, i'm a magnet for money"

& stuff like that
affirmations are like mantras. you say them to create a specific type of vibration.
so yeah

oh and then i read lots of esther & jerry hicks too
the abraham stuff

that's good too. though i don't really believe she channels
that's just pathetic
but the books are good
so you should also read them

it helps you to focus on the positive side of things
being positive is really really important
otherwise
you die
sorta

anyway. thx for your enlightening replies!
you guys

Summon the inner dragon and let it rip - no problems then.

If anyone's interested read up on the R Complex in the brain - this is where the dragon lives and it lives in the 'now'!

I look forward to the little things: like getting coffee, when the rush dies down, when the shift change occurs, and when I can finally go home. It doesn't work too well. Sometimes just being at work makes me very irritable.
