Ah, spiritalk. that is serious, yes I'm missing peeing for the moment but hopefully this will pass soon, but missing a partner is a tragedy, I miss my son every day but to dwell on it? No that way lies madness and howling at the moon. My heart, whatever is left of that poor battered organ, goes out to you.

Moving on (and we all must) is very hard.  Finding a companion after all these years of coupledom just seems so hollow, especially using the internet.  But what else is there?

There's hope, there's always hope and as long as you keep the 'open' face you never know what can turn up. I admit to being blessed (a curious word for an atheist but apt), to have the love of 1 woman was wonderful, to have the love of 2 .............. there are no words to describe it.
Did I deserve it?
No way, but surely someone far more deserving than me will be rewarded.

I miss being able to spend time with my friends.  I'm one of the few without kids or husbands to take care of at this moment.  The other single and kidless friends I have work different hours than me.  It makes it very difficult to catch up with people.
