I also know of someone who died because he was told he would die.  The mind can create many things, including our death.

This person was diagnosed with cancer.  The symptoms would not clear and his family believed he had cancer.  Not believing, he went to an alternate healer and it was found he had parasites from his exposure on a trip to another country.  Doing the right things to remove the parasites (BTW I knew of one in the process that had not been caught and passed this along to the healer) he would be relieved of symptoms.  Then his family would come and tell him he was sick and dying.  Eventually he died believing he had cancer because of the atmosphere in which he lived.

Yes...that I believe Spiritalk :)

I think each and one of us are the greatest healer for ouerself true posetive thoughts and changing of lifestyle.

Many people who are ill would have lived a better life today if they just had belived in it, maybe not be cured...but far better life.

Many people do not believe in alternate healers and they wanted him to face a reality of his illness.  They did think they were doing the right thing.  Looking from the outside it is hard for us to judge their reasons.  They may have been very loving in their own way.

Suppose you thought that the alternate healer was the problem, not the original diagnosis?  What would you fight your family member to follow?  Mainstream doctors tend to have a very God-like persona with patients who listen to every word and follow without question by most people.
