Wow, Swetha your dress is beautiful.  I love how colorful it is.  American wedding dresses are traditionally white for the most part with some variations.  Is yours what is traditionally worn in India?

ours wasnt the traditional wedding as such. both sets of parents didnt attend - they didnt approve of our marriage. well, that is past and now they do.

that was a hastily thrown together ceremony meant to be in the traditional style. we had our brothers and sister and one set of aunt and uncle at the wedding... we had onlyplanned to sign the papers but they gave us both a surprise.

the best parts of the wedding i remember was we both were cooking to feed our guests (about 10 hungry people lol) and doing dishes our wedding day... then at sometime at five her brother wakes me up from deep sleep and tell me " get up you ass... do you wanna get married or not" i was told i nodded my head that id di and went right back to sleep.

and the best part ... the priest asks me ... ME of all people who the groom was  lol

then everyone was fighting with the priest that this is not what is done and this is what is done during the marriage ceremony. everyone was lughing thier guts out... it really wasnt a marriage but a fun filled family drama... lol (the only sad part there was no family or friends :( )

oh by the way ... unlike in the photo where i have a crew cut hair ... i know sport long hair ... trying to grow a pony tail  lol
