Where to put Buddha

Post by Tracy2gemini » Mon Nov 06, 2006 12:00 am

I have been given a beautiful miniture ornament of Buddha that came from Thailand and I wanted to know if anyone know's where the best place to keep it..

I would like to have some good luck come my way as 2006 has been a very bad and unlucky yr for me.. surprising since it's the year of the dog and I was born under that sign..

Anyway.. any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Many Thanx

Tracy  :)

Hi Tracy and Welcome,

Hmmmm, good one. I have a sort of little shrine in the corner of my living room and it would look very good on there. :smt002
Seriously though, why not place it in your house where everyone that visits you will see it straight away. I think they are great ornaments though. I just might go out tomorrow and buy myself one. :smt002

So would it be best to put him where he "Welcomes" people into my house rather than for personal gain?

Yes, why not. Let him shine his light on all who enters your home.

Thank you..

I have a little cabinet in my hallway that I keep a lamp on which is near my front door..

I think I'll put him there so all may enjoy him..

Thank you again for your advice

Buddah

You might consider placing Buddah on or near your altar or where ever you go for a moment of peace & clairity.  He isn't so much a show piece as he is a guide. Touch or hold him when you need help or answers. Remember to listen...  It was a blessed gift.

So what your saying is that having a Buddha around can give you peace of mind.

Is Buddah not consider the wise teacher?

I accidently dropped my Buddah and his arm fell off, I've glued him back together but have I now lost his spirit so to speak?
