Music, music everywhere..............

But I do like music of most of the genres except loud rock thats for me is too destructive.
Anyways, for relaxation ,i need soft , mushy scores which take me to an utopian land with some1 special.
Thats quite relaxing .
What do u have to say, members?

:smt017  I adore loud rock, to me it is packed with the power of life and joy, it uplifts me! The music I find most depressing is rap, which I find is one long whinge!

:smt003 Our inner souls respond to different vibrations!

But one of the songs I most totally adore is Argent's "Dance of Ages". It is like the heartbeat of life, the supreme force and mystery of it. Mmmm!

Can you?  I've been waiting for all the youngsters to come down on me like a ton of bricks for criticising it, but nobody has yet!   :smt005   I wouldn't mind!  My mother used to say the same about my musical taste: you know: "That's not real music! That's a racket!"  Twas ever thus.

I thought it was interesting, though, that the track that first got me into Linkin Park has a sort of rap going on behind it, or as part of it (In the End).  What did you think of that one?

(By the way, my kids like some rap.)

Music IS  such a powerful force... I find that it is a source of comfort when I'm sad, a friend when I'm lonely, a booster when I'm happy and energetic...  couldn't live my life without the music in it! :smt002

:smt017  I have to admit, I have never heard of them! I will keep a look-out (if they are rock!).

:)  Yeah, they had a really nice, cheerful sound to them. Great for dancing to!

I especially liked "The Winner Takes It All", very nicely arranged (though that one's not great for dancing  :smt003 ).

Nice seeing you as well Nicole, I also like a lot of the 70's, 80's and 90's music, I have enough music to do me a life time.

:) Did they really?

I thought ABBA had disbanded, although I know there are various "tribute" bands touring, and doing very well.
