I have a question, what is a track back or permalink. i noticed in my blog that some of my posts have 0 track backs, and some have 1 or 2 or other numbers by them. just wondering what that means? anyone know?

The answer really depends on how much you know about computers I guess. Hopefully these make sense.
Tackback - allows a blogger to see who has seen the original post and has written another entry concerning it. The system works by sending a 'ping' between the blogs, and therefore providing the alert.
Permalink - a URL that points to a specific blogging entry even after the entry has passed from the front page into the blog archives. Because a permalink remains unchanged indefinitely, its use avoids link rot.
