How about jackal (similar to coyote); aardvark (like nothing you have ever seen); shark; crocodile; puff adder; leguan (look up Varanus or Nile Monitor) and termites? And snakes do not taste like chicken ... they taste like snakes!

I ate dog in a Chinese restaurant when I was training and that was OK. My farmer friend had a foal that had a broken leg so the nackers man killed it and we carved it up between us. very nice, very tender, and my favourite chinese takeaway served hampster but never eaten snake.
I saw the flying tigers (Korean Green Berets) eat a live, raw rattler, pretty interesting (I passed on that one). So you are one up on me Oldfart.

This has nothing to do with food, Prof, but why do so many people spell the word "hamster" with a "p" in it? The Americans do it all the time. I imagine that you are here talking about the rotent Cricetus cricetus or the golden hamster Mesocricetus auratus?

 This is tooo funny!!

My first impulse was the coconut, but then I started thinking about how I would open it?? lol So I decided on the cherry - I figured it would be easier to eat (despite the pits)!!
