TIME ZONE

Post by vitaloo » Thu Apr 12, 2007 5:29 am

Ok how do I get this thing to show I'm in the central time zone - why do they always show this GMT stuff? I don't know what GMT is and I don't have a clue what time it is there - all I know is it's showing I'm posting in the middle of the night and it's only 1230 here.

Hi Vitalo

Depending on where you are in the world is how much time you have to add or subtrack from GMT.  For instance I am in Australia so I am GMT+10, time zones are confusing.  I think there is an area that you can fix this maybe in the your CP.   Will have a look, I am sure I have seen it around here some where [shuffles papers back and forth]

Yep just had a look, go into 'My CP' and scroll down until you reach the field for Time Zones that should sought you out.

GMT = Greenwich Main Time

It is the starting place of all time around the world.  It has to do with the meridian it is on.
