My daughter needs help with her assigment
Shes doing an art project and she has chosen here theme to be ...
Legends that guide you somewhere ...
The Sandman
The Ferryman
She does not want to do the grim reaper
does anyone else know who else she can do?
She wants a specific "Character" to draw and she is probably going to do in India ink (Black and White)
so what characters can you come up with.
Her instuctor came up with an Angel ..but she feels the Angel just stands out.

My idea which feels divinely guided is Joseph. Joseph started off as a human and because of his love and protection for Mary and Jesus has evolved into a spirit guide in heaven. This does not have to do with religion but the way of life and Universal Law. Joseph found the way through truth and love. He has been rewarded for his hard work on this planet and now guides others to do the same. Joseph is now a heavenly spirit (as apposed to a human spirit) and if he would like, has the ability to become human again for his heavenly work.
Peace to you both

help with assignment
what about Hermes?
He used to lead all souls to the underworld and he also used to lead anyone who attempts to cross any boundaries- and that could be a journey that is physically travelled, or a journey across dimensions!
Hope this helps

How about a banshee. A woman who goes wailing and clapping her hands to warn of imminent death to old families. The keen, the funeral cry of the peasnatry is also said to imiitate her cry. An omen which also accompanies the banshee is the coah-a-bower (coiste-bodhar) a black coach with mounted coffin driven by a Dullahan. If it comes rumbling to your door and you open to it blood will be thrown in your face.
oh creepy........I would LOVE to see the pictures she does on her projects. I do paint for goth lovers and have done skulls etc for my nephews who wanted something spooky for their rooms and whilst I would never want one for myself and need to draw a thousand angels after the pictures can be very intimidating even when done by your own hand...lol...
