I heard somewhere that its very lucky for the man if his wife is taller than him... Do you think so... or is it just an old tale  :smt003

Wife taller than husband

Post by Pravin Kumar » Fri Sep 21, 2007 7:40 am

Swethaji,

One of my relatives is 18 inches taller than her husband. She is now 78 and her husband expired at 86 about 3 years back. Well they were just so and so financially although now her son is doing quite well.  But definitely nothing lucky in such a match.

Maybe Katrina Kaif maybe lucky for Salman Khan.

I'd like for my man to be taller than me :) If he were shorter, it be really awkward to have to stoop down to hug/kiss him lol... makes the woman feel dominant instead  :smt104

I think naturally women are attracted to men who are taller and therefore seem stronger but as for being lucky... I don't see how it could be.

Tall, short who cares, size dose not matter in a relationship.

Samson, I would love it if that were true. However, many people DO see size as a major obstacle in a relationship. Whether it be height or weight.  I have always been conscious of height, but then I'm a fairly tall woman and I seem to attract the shorter men.  :smt012  Go figure..

Amethyst-Jen, how tall are you?   I'm 6ft 4inchs tall and I was once married to a lady who was only 5ft 2inchs, so there you see that I don't have a problem with size, to me it does not matter.

I have traditionally had tall boyfriends.  I am pretty tall myself which was unusual here in scotland amongst my friends and so i was highly sought after by the tall men in our group.  My friends raged from 5ft to 5ft 4" I was 5ft 10" which when i wore my heels was 6ft 1"  Most of the guys ranged between 6ft and 6ft 7".

I once went out with a guy who was shorter than myself.  But he wouldn't let me wear my high heels and was a bit of a pain in the neck about me being taller than him.  So i told him to go out with one of my friends lol.

I have heard it was lucky to go out with a short man but to be honest i felt that was a rumour put out by short fat bald men to attract tall blonde attractive women lol!

Hubby was shorter than me and it didn't work out at all - no luck there!  LOL

Or maybe there was? - narrow escape!

I do not know if luck has anything to do with it. I would say that it is a cross between personal preference and chemistry. I can say that I prefer men that are shorter than myself. My sister goades me about this. Guess it is just what I like.

Height

Post by kalimullah_3 » Sat Oct 13, 2007 5:26 am

I am alone so I can guess only.
I don't thing that there is luck factor. But physical relation ship may affect if there is difference of height between husband and wife.
