Halloween has always been very popular in Scotland, but not for pumkins. we make ours from Swedes (type of turnip not swedish people)
We do dooking for apples and dress up to frighten off stray ghosts who shouldn't be out tonight.
We give out apples and peanuts rather than sweets.
we also start building our bonfires and putting together our guys to be burn't on guy falkes night.
We also go round our neighbours houses and do trick or treat, when i was a child we had to learn a song or a joke or a poem to recite at each door we went to. we were not allowed to go to strangers doors.
