Relaxation

I consider tent camping a great way of escaping the world in so many ways. Away from everyday stress.  A great time and way for meditation.

I agree, I think camping out in a tent and just escaping from the everyday stress of life - going out into nature is a great way to just relax, get in touch with yourself and tune in with the beauty of life around you. I'd love to go camping one day, I'm just too scared of creepy crawlies like spiders coming into the tent at night lol. Spiders and cockroaches are not my friends!

Sounds like you need to make amends with spiders. I don't have a guilty conscious and I sleep fine outside night after night.

BTW for camping tents if their being carried are not worth their weight compared top putting down a tarp folded up with a mat on then bungieing a tarp up over head which can be done in more places then a tent can be set up, and tarp doesn't run water down the sides where it can pool at the bottom.

Sleeping amongst nature is so restful. There is no good reason why we don't live like that everyday. Well except of course protecting nature from us. I have a theory based on two famous quotes and much observation. The quotes are "no civilization can be brought down from outside till it has destroyed it's self from within", and "a nation can survive it's fools and it's ambitious, but it can not survive treason from within"... So nature has given civilization the boot to protect it's self from being a part of the degradation that would have became of it did it not separate it's self from the rotting apples.

Lying on the side of a bank can be very relaxing

Having a hot bath.

Listening to birds sing.

Breathing slowly.

Tuning into the pulse of the heart.

Smelling flowers/essential oils.

climbing trees.

meditating with stones.

playing music, drawing.

walking along the beach, or anywhere with nice nature.

Tuning into the inner truth and nature and finding harmony there.
