Was it a special day for you or same day as normal. What did you do?

Same as normal, except I felt a little bad about not having a girlfriend. :P

we both had work on Valentine's day, so we celebrated it on Sunday. i gifted my husband a DVD of one of his favorite movies starring Chris De Burgh. And he gifted me a new haircut. we had lunch at KFC and then afterwards, went to Coffee World for Tea and snacks. we had a great time.. :)

group date

Post by lovepsychic46 » Wed Feb 16, 2011 5:46 am

My boyfriend has this really cool aunt who always loves celebrations. She pampers her nephews and nieces and spoils them to the core! This Valentine's day, she decided to pay for her nephews' dinner dates. So my boyfriend and his brother along with their two cousins got to bring their dates to this wonderful restaurant for Valentine's day. I didn't know a group date could be so much fun!

I forgot what day it was - never mind, it's only an invented day to make money for card manufacturers and flower shops, not important like a birthday, oh damn her birthday is 14th Feb.
haha only joking - I think - better go check.

Hehe true Prof. Akers... But then again so is just about every holiday nowadays. The only holiday I can think of that isn't mass commercialised is Easter, which ironically is my favorite holiday, as I like the whole spring/rebirth theme.

hahaha, in that case you would have to celebrate V-day even if you think it's just an ordinary Hallmark scheme, :-)

Myself and my hubby completed our 30th Valentine's  day this year. I was thinking , we must be in the same place at least  this day , and  God  is so merciful.  He fulfilled  my wish and made us live together  that day. But we were not so happy due to some family problems . Every year he used to gift me something, but this year no gifts. Any how I thanked God  for making us meet that day after 36 days of gap. We had a good time that day.

This may not be related to the topic at all, but what does she do at hallmark? I have always wanted to write some of those cheesy lines on a Hallmark card, hahaha Even if they rob money out of every possible occasion, I'd much prefer a little Hallmark card to an email, especially on V-day :-)

She just worked in the production office -- all you need for a verse is a trite writer!

The world is a couple's place and Valentines just emphasizes that for singles.
