There was a zen master who had many people lining up for advice.  She told them all the same....Thank God for everything in your life.

Many people went away angry expecting some secret forumla to all good.  But those that were smart enough to consider realized that the more we accept and thank God for everything, the more we are living in the ups, downs and happenings of all events.  

Yes we can choose, but being thankful for that which appears helps us learn from the good, the bad, the ugly without deep pain and discomfort.

do you tink god cometrues?whot is than luck?doesent god have luck?zen master did say luck tells everyting I alredy know.its have sense.but if god have luck (his persistance or stranght)whot is than god?I very much likes to discuss the topic about the conections and the diferencis of the aiming strenghts.i tink its so much all diferent tings but one the questionis: does they all one deobed  "god". it all alweys interests me.if anyone would share the conversation on this theme lets write here.

I think it's a question of personal perspective and terminology, really.

Luck, to me, is when random occurances work out in ones' favor and I don't believe anything is random.

So I prefer "fortunate" or perhaps "blessed."

The truth is, however, that you can never really tell. Imagine tripping and spraining your ankle. Unlucky? What about the car that would've killed you if you'd kept walking that you'll never know about?

There is no such thing to me.  I believe in making decisions based on what I am given to understand about a given situation.  I do not believe in 'chance' or 'luck'.  Sorry not to have been of more help.

I personally don't believe in luck.  Karma and luck are two different things.  Karma is the law of return.  If you do something bad, it visits you and same is true of something good.  I often tell people with a run of bad experience that they are most likely clearing up karma from another life.  Not luck ... luck is random.  Karma is not.
