TANTRIC SEX
Tantric sex practices evolved as a positive and sensual way to connect with each other and achieve enlightenment and spirituality. From the beginning the emphasis has always been on the spiritual element of sex, rather than the physical. Tantra emphasises sexuality as a doorway to human ecstasy and enlightenment and views sexual love as a sacrament. It offers a path to understanding yourself and deepening the relationship with your beloved.

KAREZZA

Simply stated, Karezza is the practice of gentle, sexual intercourse, without the goal of orgasm. Karezza is controlled non-seminal intercourse. Its origin is to be found in ancient times, borrowing from Taoist and Tantric principles. It should be noted that karezza is a sexual practice, not just kissing and cuddling.

“Removing the goal of orgasm puts the focus on sex as a sensual experience and puts couples in the moment, so they are thinking about giving and receiving pleasure, not just aiming to get to the end,” body+soul sexologist Dr Gabrielle Morrissey says.

Does this satisfactorily explain the difference between the two practices?
