Did you mean to say that you cannot easily tell from looking at a wig as to deciding whether it is human hair or a synthetic, as that is exactly what makers of synthetic wigs want?

They usually do not want you to be able to tell them apart from one another.

Each material has it advantages and disadvantages, and it is left up to the customer to balance the advantages of each of the two different types of wigs with his or her own personal needs and preferences.

On the website which you mentioned the wigs are organised into the two separate categories synthetic and human, but the type of material used in each wig's manufacture is included with the name under its picture in the general listing.

The following eBay information page may be of some practical use in helping you to compare the two main types of materials used in making wigs, and work out which is better one for you.
