Hi Folks,

Just joined - interested in Tarot - begin course today.

Currently in unhappy job surrounded by intense negativity. I plan to resign in the next few weeks (don't tell my boss yet!). WIth wife's support I intend to live as a house-husband and develop creatively through music and perhaps metaphysically - I sing in a rock band, write songs and busk regularly. Go well.

I am Sophia..........I was watching a hypno-therapist do a "Regression" and I wondered if I have an interesting past life since I am covered with brown birthmarks (about 12 I think) and I have platinum blond streaks in my hair which is dark colored that I was born with.  I have for the first time heard that all these markings could be a clue to my past life and I found this site wondering if anyone else knew about these signs?  Any info would be much appreciated as I am trying to figure out why my life is so odd and why I can't keep people in my life.  Please help!  I think something is going on with me and it is driving me to the edge to figure it out.  So, if you'd like to help me unravel the mystery of myself please reply to this post.

Greetings! Have you tried tarot before? The trick is to not think too hard, let the ideas come to you from the pictures and how they all fit together and the subject that they are referring to. I went through about a year of flipping through the little definition book frustrated with the big words and ambiguous meanings. LOL! Just let it come naturally. Good luck!

I can use Tarot to find out what trauma created my birthmarks?  I am not quite sure how that would work.  Do I just look at the images and flip through a book of definitions?  Can I go buy my own Tarot?  Someone told me they have to be given t o you.

I worked in a horrible corporate environment for 5 years and I had to quit it made me so upset.  Great money that wasn't worth it.  Poor and happy is better than constant misery.  Welcome to Mystic!

Just to introduce myself to the forum:
I'm a newbie here, but not in the area of metaphysics and mystics.
I use my own definition of these generic notions, such as "Religion", or "Yoga":
I call them "The Science Of Getting Back". I even consider it as "The Art of Not Interfering With The Truth
That We Never Went Anywhere, so There's No Need To Get Back. Just Be."
Of course, it sounds funny as a term, but I hope most of readers know what I mean.
I'm a DVM, and acupuncturist. I used to be a blues musician during my college days. I had wonderful
experiences with Hatha Yoga, meditation, QiGong, TaiJiQuan and Chinese Medicine.
I'm here to learn Vedic Astrology Basics, and to meet some good people.
