purple star(zi wei dou shu) newbie

This site is great, can't wait to start.
I'm a newbie in zi wei dou shu, and hope to contribute and learn more on purple star( zi wei dou shu) from all the gurus on this subject.

Plotting the chart is easy, as i had just did my own manual plotting.
Should i use l birth date in lunar calendar to generate correct chart?

When i use the MB Purple star astrology 1.40, need to use birth date in lunar calendar to generate chart same as my manual plotting.

Does anyone manage to get a registered version of this software?

Would like to see a sample chart and intepretation from this software  to learn more discuss further.
