It is indeed a nice surprise to get so many welcome messages on my first day here.

This is kind of new learning for me. I am especially interested in learning about Vedic Astrology. Abdout 15 years back, I got hold of some books on astrology, but I was discouraged by a friend and a very good astrologer. He gave me the reason that I have a bright career ahead of me and I should avoid learning astrology as it it likely to adversely effect my drive and initiative in life. I agree with him partly... but I am at a stage in my life where I need to make several critical decisions. My astrologer friend died and so far I have not been able to meet any other astrologer in my surroundings.

I am sure many good astrologers must be here and I look forward to being friends with them. I hope other members could advise me about good astrologers at this forum since I joined just yesterday.
