I am new here and just registered. I have been learning the tarot cards for some months now. I hope to be able to interact with fellow readers and/or enthusiasts on whatever level.

Thank you to all of you who have welcomed me and the others to this forum. I have been 'learning' the tarot cards since last Christmas and have always strived to new meanings of the cards in an effort to try and memorise them. I have given up the memorising business now (although it is good to know a general meaning/pointers about the card) and sort of go by what I feel.
I have read Gem's lessons up to the last posting and am trying to take part with postings of my own.

I have also read Joan Bunning's free internet tarot course - a wonderful work - which can be found on learntarot for those of you who might be interested to download and print this free on-line course. However, we all need to interact, talk and exchange ideas and this forum and Gem's tarot course is the best place to do it.

I just completed my first post and it gave me the Zodiac marker of LEO but in fact I am Cancer....it is always confusing but I was born only 10 minutes away from being a LEO.  I just wanted to set this straight.

Actually no, lol, but I do hate the term cancer and cancerian, I remember my kids saying " mummy does that mean you will get cancer?"  Ugh, Why did they ever choose that word for a starsign and constellation tropic?

Have you tried changing your birthdate round? 7/20 not 20/7 ?  does that help?
