Hello from upstate NY

Hi! I'm a middle aged "sandwich generation" mom with an active family, going back to school finally finishing my degree, working full time, taking care of my disabled dad and living here in beautiful central NY in the woods in a log cabin with my cuddly just retired (yes he's driving me crazy) husband and lovable but dumber-than-a-box of rocks Black Lab "Shadow."

 Whew! Nice to meet all you folks.
