Which Gemstone is the best for me.

At the risk of sounding unkind, your question is sortr of like going to a plumber's forum and asking what kind of wrench you should use--it depends on what you need or wish to accomplish.

You might try just going to a rock shop, check out a bunch of them and see what calls to you.

Personally, I favor the quartz family, having made a deal with the Quartz Deva many years ago, but I also use lapis and jade a lot.

As far as wearing them goes--again, it depends on what you wish to accomplish. I ALWAYS wear quartz, usually in an earring on my left--receptive side--this is because due to age and an advancing case of myalgic encephalomyelopathy/chronic fatigue immunodysfunction syndrome-I can use all the energy I can get.

Plus I carry a number of small stones in a medicine pouch--again, carried on my left side.

When I am doing fairly heavy-duty shamanic work, I wear a double-term quartz pendant with a silver wire-wrapped lapis cabachon.

Besides going to a crystal shop and buying the stones that called to me,
sometimes I look up the properties of gemstones and see if any of them
will help me with light work, increasing intuition, etc.

Your question is very veague.  Try this go to a store that sells gem stones ok.  Close your eyes and hold each one in your receptive hand.  You would be amazed the energy you can feel in each stone.  Go with your total intution on which stones to buy.  In my personal experience the stone is just a focal point lending you its energy you are the person doing the work.  Try working with a veriety of different stones.  Only then will you be able to find which stones work best for you
