Kua Numbers- What do they mean and how to calculate your Kua

MB Feng Shui Kua Number is a an interesting and easy to use software that calculates the Kua or Gua number based on the Eight Mansions school of Feng Shui.
The Kua number for a person helps one analyze their destiny and defines their auspicious and inauspicious directions as well as personal colors to wear and avoid for these particular directions.

MB Feng Shui Kua Number calculates the Kua number for an input set of details that include the date of birth and the gender of the person. Each number attracts a different kind of prosperity. It is recommended that you eat, sit and sleep in the auspicious directions.
They are:

1. Success (Sheng Chi) Direction:
This direction signifies the best direction to create wealth and prosperity. Education will progress. Business will prosper and there will be an abundance of happiness.

2. Health (Tien Yi) Direction:
This direction brings good health and protection from illnesses. It brings relief from suffering and help in the curing process.

3. Your Romance (Nien Yen) Direction
This is your relationship direction. This will reduce your fights and quarrels and improve the harmonious relationship with your family and loved ones.

4. Personal Development (Fu Wei) Direction
This helps improve your stability and personality development. It also aids your thought process. Your kindness and respect for others also increases.

The inauspicious directions are the ones that need to be avoided for any good purpose.
They are:

1. Total Loss (Chueh Ming) Direction:
This direction may be bad for your job or some terrible misfortune. This may also lead to bankruptcy, illness and death.

2. Six Killing or Obstacle (Liu Sha) Direction
This signifies your direction for legal problems and constant illnesses.

3. Five Ghosts or Illness (Wu Kuei) Direction
This may cause illnesses in your family and some scandals. There may also be accidents.

4. Mishaps (Hou Hai) Direction
This may lead to arguments and loss of money.

Each person’s destiny is also closely related to the five elements.

Element:

Water:
You will flow like water. You have a flexible and adjusting nature. You may seem stable but in reality you are restless. You will make a good leader, as you are confident and clear about your decisions. You have a magnetic personality
Element Water is compatible with elements Tree and Metal.
Element Water is not compatible with elements Fire and Soil.

Earth:
You are grounded and have strong roots that spread throughout the soil. You are very loyal and dependable. At the same time you can be stubborn and stick to your decisions. You can be the best friend or the worst enemy.

Element Earth is compatible with elements Fire and Metal.
Element Earth is compatible with elements Wood and Water.

Metal:
You are a deep thinker and believe in discovering things for yourself. You are disciplined and methodical by nature. You believe more in quality than quantity.

Element Metal is compatible with elements Water and Soil.

Wood:

Element Wood is compatible with elements Water and Fire.
Element Wood is not compatible with elements Fire and Tree.

Fire:
You have a lot of passion and fire burning inside you. You have an attractive personality and are always enthusiastic about doing things. You need to be surrounded by people and hate loneliness.
Element Fire is compatible with elements Wood and Soil.
Element Fire is not compatible with elements Metal and Soil.

What am I doing with them?

Now what do I do with the charts...and the directions...
I look up #2 and....

the first chart is not so bad...
I really don't understand the second (negative) chart

There are all kinds of directions SE.. NW...etc ...etc

SE- stands for south east..the dir in between south and east
similarly the rest..NW = North west = direction between north and west...
i hope u understood what i am trying to say.

some directions r gud for u and some r bad..
like if ur kua no is 2:
"Feng Shui masters recommend that you work, sit or sleep with your head or face pointed in your Sheng Chi (Success) Direction" . in ur case that wud b North East.
i hope i am making sense.

Similarly:try not to face any of these directions for any length of time.

for u: East, south East, South, north

OK...Don't face North...it is total Loss...
But..
How do I lay NW in bed..I can only lay N or W...
and I do lay N
I don't see how I can do a NW (well I do torce and turn a lot)

I can't put the bed in a corner...especially with slopped walls...and a high headboard...

Everything in my house would have to be cornered..
chairs...couches..computer...etc

with all the directions advised for me...being 2 combined...

My house is built on land like that...It is faces West...

I guess I can't do this...

I did though, put a plant next to my front door like it said in the subject of

i once heard that trying to hard doesnt do much good.

Na...Not trying too hard...
Just trying to understand the concept of this subject....
If it is easy enough to do...I would..
But I am not going to turn my home upside down and all around for it...
If it is easy enough to do like the plant by the door...I would and did...
I just moved a plant I already had to the door area...
I apreciate everyone talking to me about this subject...
I am learning about it...from all...

The Kua number are Not from 1 to 9 as were described.These 1 to 9 are Lork Shu number that are assigned to the Baqua to form the post kua ( or Qua ) where the locatin of these number form 1 to 9 are equated to illustrate the function of these astrological forces functiining on earth.

Number 5 is not a kua or qua. It is the *Gravity of earth* that hold the equlibrium of these astrological forces. It is a just like the nucleus of an atom that hold all the electron on the various shell orbiting the nucleas of an atom.

The classification of number to man and woman by these number that said each should have a house or sleep in according to these auspicious Number Are Not Reliable and well founded by xuan kong feng shuia. This is a misconception of real xuan kong principles.These number represent many power and defination applied widely in chinese astrology and feng shui principles.Unfortunately, it is errorneously understood and applied by many that Bring harm than good.

The xuan kong flying star is a strong evidence and case that use these to represent the Star of luck of a period. These stars are actualy are Kua read and presented in another form and shape or dimention.

Sleeping having head pointing to a certain specific direction is astrologically workable in The Minor Fenmg shui principles where the astrological forces contained in a birth date of a person are assessed and determined so that the astrological forces that support the luck of that person be *Imported* .
