Pink is the colour of love and warmth and romance, Yellow is longevity and faithfulness and Gold the colour of wealth and harmony and balance, so you have picked three wonderful colours.  :) Lovely

Silk or live flowers?
If they are silk, you could go with a varigated flower with both pink and yellow.

How beautiful!  I'd add a little deep wine red though, just for passion!

Those colours do seem to be good for a wedding, i would also see if yo ucan add soem green in to this some where, green is the colour for  the heart chakra..but  pink will be good for you what about making the yellow more of a orange colour....

I've been to a wedding where the grooms men were wearing red shirts and the bridesmaids purple gowns....

are those colors taboo in weddings?

most of the weddings i attended, the brides and grooms don all white. While white is supposed to symbolize purity...but for some superstitious, white is a colour that's for funerals i.e. bad luck!

I always thought my wedding colors would either be something glamorous, light and airy like royal blue, white and silver (with green pulled in through flowers and accents)..

or I'd go in the complete other direction and do vibrant reds, oranges and yellows and give it a decidedly warm feeling.

Any ideas on the pros and cons of either color scheme?

Wedding Colors?

Post by Msteedawn1 » Wed Oct 10, 2007 9:06 pm

Just curious my sister is getting married Saturday and her colors are Red Black and White?  I thought it was odd when I heard but never thought about the Feng Shui issues it might have.
