front door question

Post by comfort29 » Tue Feb 12, 2008 5:43 pm

I have done research from time to time and am slowly adding things to my house...but my question always is...when they talk about your "front" door....is it actually your front door that faces the street...or is it the door you use most often.  Because we tend to use our kitchen/side door as our main point of entry/exit.

Mostly, I've heard that your home's main entry is the door you and your family use the most.  So, you want to keep that area neat and clean and make it a pleasant place.  Also, though, you want your front door and the pathway leading to it to be pleasing and welcoming.  After all, company and people you don't know will use it.  If you rarely enter through your front door, then it'll be easy to keep it free from clutter and dirt.
