Vaastushastra is a precious gift given to human by old Indian scientists and great people. IT is an ancient indian science and buildings which helps in making a congenial setting for a place to live in and work in  a most   scientific way.
                              VASTU is affected by all the five elements(water , fire ,wind
          , earth and space),magnetic energy, solar energy and other energies.
FIRE: Fire circulates energy in the form of light and heat.
  EARTH: Earth means composition of the surface of the earth, the soil and
                   other minerals presence in  soil.
 WATER: It is the most essential element for all living  beings and is a basic
        element required in construction. Taking care of water means that
         the house is stable even during heavy rains.
    AIR: The atmosphere exists around the earth up to 400 K.m. height
               approximately. Composition of the Atmosphere and presence of
               vapour in it differs from place to place according to local conditions.
SPACE: Space is most widely spread element among five basic elements. The
              unending spread of  the universe in which all heavenly body exists is
             called space. The houses should be built in such a way that the
              invisible forces of nature and the energies generated by them can be
             fully utilized and their harm full affects may be  avoided.
                                                                     Whenever we create a  
  building, we make a change in it or do the work of creating and
 modifying a building then there come a change in our life. This change
 affect our health, success business and relation.
                                   The life force contained within The earth is what
called vastu by tradition. As such all Objects containing life energy
that occupy the earth is called vastu . Vastu is thus a living space or a

We have a basement in our new house. The time we shifted to our new house, our business starts declining. Is this due to the basement as i have read  that having a basement is vaastu defect. Please advice.
