While it's helpful, I wouldn't say they depend on it.

From Wikipedia
Vāstu Śāstra, also spelled Vaastu Shastra(Sanskrit vāstu "site, building, house" and śāstra "treatise, instruction") is one of the traditional Hindu canons of town planning and architecture.

Vaastu Shastra deals with various aspects of designing and building living environments that are in harmony with the physical and metaphysical forces. Building practices based on limited interpretations of these principles are still sustained in parts of India. Though Vastu is conceptually similar to Feng Shui in that it also tries to harmonize the flow of energy (Also called life-force, and Prana in Sanskrit, similar to Chi in Chinese) through the house, it differs in the details, such as the exact directions in which various objects, rooms, materials etc are to be placed.

technicality

Post by obvious@live.ca » Wed Jun 18, 2008 2:47 am

I would say that things like that, such as feng shui, do have effect, and in some cases if you are not prepared for them, its not so good, got whacked by feng shui when our family joined with the east, kind of hard to figure out, but getting there....

I would say that alot of this is honouring some part of ourselves, of the universe some way, and by giving it time and energy, and sometimes money =( we are activating some sort of respect factor....

sometimes I think it takes things out of the hands of everyday people and puts it in the hands of "doctors" who know the exacting exactitudes of flow, energy, killing corners, and we may have done that ourselves by losing faith in our connection? the availability of Higher power, self, God, whoever you name it as, whatever you think it is, seems to escape us sometimes and we call in a specialist to say our prayer....

alot of what I have found to be the case in my life personally, is a lot of strange subconscious guilt, both from what I have experienced as a child, and with an interaction with a certain group of people who had certain yucky ideas about me (the word non sharing greedy pig comes to mind quite frequently) ok. that sounded mean, but truthfully, they were walking all over me and not a nice way....so outside and inside influence activating certain ideas, which attached to a physical vibration in my "space"  which I am in the process of enlightening ;)

so this stuff does work, but I am a little worried about making things so technical that it takes a specialist to cure any problems, ask for help, get a message to the creator....

and then there is faith and belief....blessings.
do no harm =)

one thing about technical spirtuality systems....

Post by obvious@live.ca » Wed Jun 18, 2008 3:10 am

one thing I would like to mention from personal experience, being sensitive to strange energies, and without being in the least bit prejudice, we are about as multicultural as you get in our family(I think we're only missing a couple of continents in my immediate family, let alone the extended one, we cover the globe ;), and I live in Canada to boot ;)

If you do happen to combine energies with a different stream of consciousness, you have to make it very clear that it all goes down in love and light, or else you may have to learn an entire new system set of dealing with your spirituality....add things in, mismass, lots of fun learning the different things,

I do hope this isnt a usual occurence, but if things do take a weird turn when you marry into a different culture, you may want to check out the different energetic effects, perhaps even with a specialist as some of these systems get _quite_ technical, I couldnt ask my sister in law about this, because she is an accountant, not a mystic, thus less effected by the changes in energy that went on at our point of union...

I'm honestly a little confused about how this has happened, but it definitely has, and if weird, possibly seeming for no reason strangeness occurs, check out the connections, or make your own personal connection _very_ clear....you might need to provide reinforcement.

this may have had to do with my boundary issues, not having much of a sense of a boundary is both a blessing and something to learn about, its useful to what I want to do/be in this world, but makes unknown, unforseen changes in energy system,....suprising, at least this time it is =)

and it has nothing to do with the person bringing the energy in, more the past and future, behind them, around them, flowing in, whether they are affected by it, perhaps others are more sensitive, not being aware of the energy to a degree deflects it, but it doesnt make the power go away, the potential....

i'm a little sensitive about this because I just had to spend a whole bunch of time figuring out various bits and pieces of feng shui that have been specific problem references of occurances over the past few years, and its definitely not part of my common knowledge, its something I have had to learn, and on the fly at that.

it is with my best wishes that no one else have to go thru that, so perhaps now there is a "guardian at the gate" to help point the energies in the aright way, so only blessing occurs, not violence....and we can combine, in Peace and Love, as it should be.
do no harm =)

Super Natural & Vastu

Post by Tarot&Vastuconsultant » Tue Jun 28, 2016 5:47 pm

I find many people wondering if Supernatural has any connection with VAstu defects. Yes it definitely has.

Defects in southwest creates this problem. If there is cut in south west, or else the ground level in the southwest is not equal or is less than the north & east ground level, such problems occurs.

When i say southwest, it means area falling between 220-240 degree.

Thanks :)
