My dream
OK, I have some weird dreams about my ex and I, then other times it has my new friend in it. Not to sure why I keep dreaming about these two. WE are never in the same house and I am always walking to find the right place where we are to be. Any suggestions on this?

Can I safely assume that your ex and your new friend are both of the same gender?
Possibly in an emotional support sense you are attempting to compensate for having lost your ex through now having your new friend come into your life to take their place.
Your new friend is being seen and treated as a substitute for someone else from your past, rather than as a completely different person with their own personal strengths and weaknesses.
If this is true, then you are still effectively grieving for a relationship which your logical mind at least has accepted has no future. It is a pity that it often takes our human hearts so long to catch up with what our minds have already been telling us for some considerable time.
