Talking to someone when they are asleep

Post by sno » Wed Apr 05, 2006 2:06 pm

Hi,

Has anyone ever tried this?  When I went to bed last night my partner was already asleep, I gave him a hug and said love you.  He repied "I only wanted to take a good photo of Indy".  Indy is our dog.

He was going to take a picture earlier that day but the dog had moved from the pose he wanted.  It just got me thinking, although he didn't answer my question is it possible to speak to people and get answers when they are alseep?

Has anyone tried this?

once what happened was Abhishek was describing something in his dream..and like when conscious... i am supposed to reply.. else he kept insisting "isnt it?"
just yest... i asked him something..and he replied quite sensibly..and later on doesnt  remember having spoken to me at all!

Hehe, I think tonight when he's asleep I may try and ask him a question, just to see what happens, it could be fun eh.  Anyone else willing to give it a try tonight?

I never did talk in my sleep and it seems a bit strange to me, but on the other hands it's quite normal. I have a lot of friends who do this and it's always nice to hear their stories when they're caught up saying silly things when they sleep :D

Hmmm, I tried it last night but ended up waking him up twice.  I'll try and wait until he is in a deeper sleep tonight and try again!

Try to talk to him slowly and whisper not normal talking try not specific questions cuz those require conscious thinking.
