Demon Possession and a Dog

My husband was scared awake this morning by a dream he had.

He dreamt that there was this big black dog laying at the foot of our bed on his side of the bed and my husband kept trying to kick the dog off the bed but the dog wouldn't get down.  The dog was licking something.  

Then my husband said that he felt me start shaking in my sleep and he tried to wake me up and suddenly he looked at my face and I had become possessed by the devil.  He said the dog immediately went over to me and I started petting it.  He got so scared he woke up.  

Anyone have any insight about any of this?  It really freaked him out!!
