An aura is an electromagnetic field of energy around all things.  It manifests in colour as that is how energy and light can manifest.  The meanings of colours can vary from person to person.

When we are falling asleep we go into an alpha state in which psychic dreams can occur.  This also happens as we are waking up.  If you were to see our brain waves during sleep, it is an up and down line of consciousness.

During the rem sleep that occurs beyond the alpha dreams occur.  These dreams are mainly about our unresolved emotional issues from our conscious state.  Listening to them and working with the message helps us resolve our issues for living comfortably.

Predictive dreams come on the psychic level.  And when they are seen to be true and/or effective, there is usually a reason for them.  That is for the dreamer to resolve.
