Re: Devotion for God
One does not acquire devotion to God. You practise and demonstrate your devotion to God in your daily life by doing everything as you imagine that God would do or want you to do.symulhaque wrote:How do a person acquire devotion for God when he does n't know Him?
One of the main guiding purposes of living on this planet is to gradually get to know and understand both God and yourself better, and to eventually over a long period of time which could potentially span many incarnations recognise that if for only one nanosecond God did not continue to exist within every atom of which your own body and this Universe is composed, everything past, present and future would instantly cease to exist.
Since we were all still here last time I checked God is still inside every atom of your body, and is the Light within every soul.
True devotion to God is living your daily life as if it is being lived by God, inside of and through you. To be constantly aware of God's eternal presence as you go about your daily activities, and to honor his or her presence by everything which you do. You cannot acquire wisdom or devotion, but you can develop and build upon them.

Always a pleasure! :)
You have an open and enquiring mind which is a great credit to you my friend, and it is also one of your greatest personal assets which no prospective employer can afford to overlook, for the maximum good of his or her company. IMHO
At job interviews with all other things being equal the applicant who is most likely to be successful is the one who is his or her own best salesperson, and the one whom shows the most interest in and motivation towards improving his or her knowledge and work efficiency.
All the best with your job hunting,
