Pure of Heart question

Post by Flame haired one » Thu May 24, 2007 4:46 pm

Has anyone hear heard of this phrase in reference to a person?  If so, what does this mean?

I have tried to look this up and the only results that I have found have 'generally' spoke of a type of meditation or moving towards Indian references, with no 'real' explaination.

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

It is a phrase used with the pure of heart (spiritually adept) who see only the good in all things and people.  Sometimes it is used with children and sometimes we just know someone who can see the good in all.

In Arthurian legends only a man pure of heart could pull Excalibur from the stone.   In the same legend Nimue reveals that one day a man
with a pure heart will find the Grail and peace and happiness will return.

These were from the movie "Merlin".  I loved it.

I simply loved the stories of the golden age of chivalry and the knights of old!  Pure of heart was certainly an aspect.

I heard this given to a person as part of 'their reading' and it referenced them.  I was always curious about what it signified about the person.

Thanks!   :)
