Some time ago our family was given a pendant by my Dhs grandfather.  It has been missing now for what seems like a few years.  It was put in a curio cabinet to display and for safe keeping however that didnt last long.  Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

It's in a dusty box I can see a smaller box thats taped up within a box.  The second box is much smaller and the room left around it has what looks like medals and other little bits and pieces inside it just floating around also.  Where this box is though I'm not 100% sure but i'm hoping the box and medals may just jog your memory!

My heart skipped a beat when you described where its at, still not knowing for EXACTLY sure either but it sounds very like something we would have.  Dh collects all kinds of odds and ends so I need to go back and weed through to see about finding it.  
If you get any other ideas as to where the box is, please feel free to get back with me and spare my house from being ransacked.....

do you have some sort of wooden sofa that is attached to a wall in your house? maybe with a cracked, orange sitting pad on it?

No sofa thats attached to the wall.  Nor with an orange cracked padded seat. I have a couch now that has cracked vinyl tho.

You had someone visit and stay some time ago and I feel it was whilst cleaning up for their arrival that it was put in a box with other items that had also been kept in the same location.  It looks like it was a male that put it away either your hubby or son if you have a son?  Try jog their memory

Its in a storage area along with other boxes and possibly an ironing board too..........im being shown and ironing board.  

Basically Im also being made aware not to worry it is still with you and now you have brought it back to your attention, you will stumble across it.  Its certainly not lost forever.

Ok, I wasnt absolutely sure where to look, now I do.  DH did put it up, he felt he hid it on himself. Did a good job I might add!  Just to know that it IS in fact still with us helps tremendously.  Again, THANKS so much!

Actually I never looked for it.  Its far too big of a job to tackle that room right now with everything else that is going on.  When the time comes to go through it I will keep in mind to go through every box I have in there.
