why do we believe?

why do we believe things that we believe? the reason for not believing is doubt - obvious or imaginary. but, there are very few things in the world that is obvious or comes with a proof. How do you believe them?

i dont know and i am thankful that i am not in a position to have to make that call, i wish warm on no one   ,but i have one question  if your life was in danger or your family  would you defend to the point of killing ...
