Hello everyone,
I have a few questions i'd like to ask regarding meditation.
1.) There's so many meditation techniques, which ones are more effective or are the appropriate gateway?
2.) I want to ultimately
3.) Being impatient and having a desire to see results quickly, how do i make sure i stay on track and not give up? For example, if i meditate for a week and not see anything happen, i'd probably give up... What are some motivations that can help me keep on track?
4.) Ultimately, my goal for meditating is to contact my higher self, astral project, and the like.
5.) I feel very lonely in this spiritual path. It'd be awesome to have a guru who I can be his or her disciple, and he or she can keep me on track. However, I know that it's important to find someone who can "connect" with me.
I was raised under Buddhist beliefs, and although not 100% religious but also not taking it with a grain of salt, I take in what I believe is right. I don't take in anything just because my religious beliefs say it's the right thing.
Thanks guys!!

Persistence . Actually clearing the mind and relaxation .
I don't like bodily relaxation techniques . . if tried before
meditation begins or when [then] after you learn mantra
the bodily relaxation techniques of completely relaxing a
sense of body and all muscles can effect breathing and
digestion . The digestion with lowering your meditation a
technique known to mantra thought less forms . . can be
a bad idea if the theory on chakras effects the centers *
of meditation and thereby sets your digestive esophagus
and breathing center at the heart *chakra* off balance . .
Try clearing your mind and using a mantra to see the mind
will be clear without *air* being your meditation on breath . Use the mantra to notice when your mind is clear . OM Amaste .

Mantra is the way one learns to quiet the mind by [learned technique]
asking the mind to focus on mantra to learn what thoughts are *mind*
active in the mind of many thoughts enacting lack of [confused thot.s]
quiet at once . The scientific ([ being the modern devices of thought ])
programs such as similar to electro encephelo gram {a mentalist prog}
will show the quiet mind does not have all thoughts occuring in areas of
the brain at once . . Mantra will remind the quiet person the thoughts will
be ready to be given and the mind and inner hearing will relax [meditate]
when the mantra is used to remind the mind to be quiet . {mantara}@
The meditation begins when un*heard* thoughts are quiet . (medita.tion)
The mantra of relaxation used to completely relax the body is not a meditation .,
it is a relaxation technique . Mantra is used to remind the meditator the mind may
be without jumble of thoughts . Mantra is quiet minded . Meditation . Thanks . Ev

well, if you want to get results like astral projections, opening third eye , etc... you cannot see results immediately within a week and all.. It takes a lot of time and practice to achieve those feats. try to calm nd quieten ur mind for 30 mins everyday morning and evening. And you ll automatically know what you should do after that once u reach a certain stage of development. There is no quick fix for it.
