Aware of Adding:

Add anything you’d like to life, but understand the only reason adding is added is because there isn’t contentment with life as it is and you think you have to add to it for it to be complete.

Becoming aware of what you’re adding to your life arises from the inner desire of wanting. When this is seen it becomes a valuable tool in the arsenal of one’s spiritual expansion. This helps the squirrel cage mind settle down so you see what your conditioning is telling you you need to add to your life. It’s could be the driver in front of you who you need to add because you think they should be driving different. Or it may be a piece of cake that you think you need to add because it will fulfill you. How about participating in something so you can add a certificate to the made up identity of who you think you are? This subtle adding can be identified as anything that’s used to change the way you feel about the moment that’s occurring right now. When there’s traffic, what’s constantly added is the space where there isn’t traffic, weaving in and out, always adding the fast lane and whatnot.

This is how adding grabs you without even realizing it. Add a diet because you’ve already added you’re fat. Add going to a program because you’ve added you think it’s needed. Add looking at the clock at work to see how much time you have left before it’s either lunch time or time to go. Add anything you’d like, but understand the only reason adding is added is because you are not content with life as it is and you think you have to add something for you to be complete. It doesn’t matter what is added because it all works the same; you're trying to add something because you think will complete you. Religion is probably at the top of the adding list, then self image, social status, job, family, career and so on, I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with any of these things, but the moment you have to add something because the sense of incompleteness arises it becomes bondage. Adding something designed for self help is a perfect example as this is done to alleviate incompleteness, if this wasn’t so adding wouldn't be. To add or not to add that is the question, but the question won’t be added if it’s seen you are already complete as you are.
