Consciousness and The Universe


Science’s present ‘Standard Model of the Universe’,
Consists of mostly dark energy,
Some dark matter, and manifestation diverse,
Combining into a cosmic synergy.

This dark energy makes the universe expand,
Faster and faster which will ultimately cause,
Far galaxies to disappear from view and
Freezing cold, as stars their fuel exhaust.

Matter and energy are Consciousness in motion,
Awareness is the name of Consciousness at rest.
Movements arise, reside and subside in this ocean,
Of dark energy and matter in which they manifest.

In our direct experience this can be shown,
Thoughts and sensations in Awareness appearing,
In This they arrive, exist, exit and are known,
From this many more are potentially rearing.

From stillness all movements commenced,
Thus from Awareness existence spews forth,
Eventually when all of their energy is spent,
Back into nothingness they choicelessly morph.

These are all composed of vibration,
Whose wavelengths increase as they slow,
So cooling atoms lose individuation,
Until merging into one at ‘absolute zero’.

Thus from Consciousness at rest the universe evolved,
Arising from the infinite potential energy therein,
Creating the expanding cosmos, which as it grows cold,
Merges back into nothingness, whence it may re-begin.
