Awareness Saturates The Universe

A materialist critic quipped,
Awareness needs someone who is aware,
Requiring that one is equipped,
With a brain, or else it cannot be there!

But that’s just noticing with the mind,
By looking at the overall ‘screen’
Of Awareness, where we may find,
All perceptions that are ‘seen’.

Awareness saturates the whole universe,
From electrons of being observed aware,
To cells responding to conditions diverse,
And moulds moving to foods placed there.

Electrons as waves appear, until they become aware,
Of an observer, when to particles they're ‘re-formed’,
Which happens before they could ‘see’ it was there,
For being in the same ‘field’ they’re already informed.

Neils Bohr showed that subatomic particles are not
Independent objects, but just part of an indivisible milieu,
Whilst Bohm posited that electrons in plasma have got
Awareness of the actions of trillions in that ‘particle stew’.

Awareness can be defined as Consciousness at rest,
Aware of all movements that in it occur,
All things are cosmic energy, filled with this zest,
Exhausted, back into motionless they recur.

For in stillness all movements arise,
In this they abide, by Awareness are spied,
Back into this they all must subside,
When out of momentum, the end of the ride.

I write (and read) these posts, based on my meditations and contemplations, as much for my own benefit as for that of 'others'. For this helps to keep me 'awake' in this illusory, and impermanent, world ... our perception of which is based purely on our physical, and mental, configuration.
