A FIRM FOUNDATION:

A Firm Foundation:

Standing your ground and having a firm foundation is essential in trying times as well as in good ones because the storms will come and they will blow you away without a firm foundation in place...

A storm will not destroy a structure that has a firm foundation to withstand its force. Standing your ground and and having a firm foundation is essential in trying times as well as in the seemingly good times because storms will come regardless. How firm your foundation is will determine how much damage will be inflicted on a structure. Standing at the base of a structure and looking up when it's stormy seems as though the structure will buckle over as it sways back and forth to its breaking point, but with a firm foundation it will remain firm in its strong point. This occurs not because the structure is strong, but because the foundation is firmly rooted, this provides the support needed in the midst of a storm.

Many things will test your resolve in life, but understand it's not life’s doing, it's just the nature of how things are. The important thing is to have a foundation firm enough to bend but not break. Circumstances and other people's belief will test you and without a firm foundation you will succumb to the pressure. It will be difficult to hold your ground and it may be as though you have broken, but a structure is only as firm and as resilient as its foundation. Make it as deep as possibly so when a test (storm) does come your way, you may sway, but you will have the support to remain firmly intact...
