The Best of All Worlds, Humanity at its Peak

If with Awareness we identify,
Do we our humanity deny?
Or would our inhumanity
Be replaced by sanity?

When awake we truly become
Full of joy, love and compassion.
We see that no separation exists
For ‘All is One’, Awareness insists.

Consciousness manifests the universe
And its contents so diverse,
To know Itself, for Its pleasure,
And to reveal ‘The Hidden Treasure’.

It needs instruments for sensing and seeing,
The function of every conscious being.
Also to know Itself as consciousness at rest,
Humanity with this potential is blessed.

When awake we can feel the bliss,
Of living, which we generally miss.
Resulting in loving one and all,
On whomsoe’er one’s eye may fall.

For Awareness, the lover, consciousness at rest
And the beloved, manifest at its behest,
Are forever one, locked in an eternal embrace
In which no ‘parting’ can ever take place.

So man’s inhumanity to his fellow men
Would totally vanish if all awaken.
Giving ‘The Best of All Worlds’ that we seek,
Heaven on Earth, Humanity at its peak!
