Still, seeing MoonGoddess break out in laughter and maybe have Earl explain the inherent error of its use at such and event would be priceless!
The fool who fancies he is full of wisdom while he sits by his hearth at home.
Quickly finds when questioned by others that he knows nothing at all.

There is no "Blank" Rune. Was a recent addition to the Rune sets.
Blessed be.

Absolutely! You will find no myth, no saga, no nothing in Norse mythology that mentions the blank rune... as it has been said here, the elder futhark is divided in three aets of 8 runes, and that's the only way it should be. 25th rune does nothing but destroying the whole conception.
I am the son and the heir
Of the shyness that is criminally vulgar
I am the son and the heir of nothing in particular

That's exactly what I do with the blanks.  I don't appreciate the blanks in tarot decks either!

According to my opinion, the Blank Rune is the "Rune of Mahamudra". I'm always think of  the Runes as stages, and The Blank Rune is the stage where all Runes(all stages) are available. It's a stage where we are not being controled by circumstances, instead, we control them--by shaping the cicumstances, shaping our destiny--the way we want it to be. It is the Rune of Isis, Maria(Mary/Madonna), Shiva, Brigit, etc.
