Rune Memorization

Hello,
I'm trying to start memorizing the runes and their basic meaning.  Does anyone have a suggestion as to the best way to do this?  Something that has worked for you?  
I am considering flash cards but I'm not quite sure how to put them together.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Start writing in Runes that will get you familiar with each rune, as for memorising each rune and its meaning I would suggest choose one rune at a time and until you fully understand that rune live with it on a day to day basis.  Look at every aspect of your life and try and see the rune in it if that makes any sense.
