i am new to rune, can anyone tell me which color of pouch i should use to keep my rune set.

I dont no what its ment to be, but mine are in a dark red velvet pouch. Maybe you should follow your heart as to the colour, then its personal too you.

Well, if you want to follow certain tradition, it should be made of white cotton... Don't mind the color, as long as it is made from a natural fabric.

Im making rune, tarot and pendulum bags and actually have some velvety material, in your opinion should I use that for something else and hit the natural fabric for the above tools??

Well, it is always the best solution to use natural materials... for example, many Tarot masters strictly reccomand not using synthetical fabrics... Natural materials well preserve the energy of the tools. Silk is the best energetic isolator, but it's expensive, so I always choose cotton.
