to Open the Crown Chakra

Put your hands before your stomach. Let the ring fingers point up, touching at their tops. Cross the rest of your fingers, with the left thumb underneath the right.

Concentrate on the Crown chakra at the top of your head.

Chant the sound NG.

Warning: don't open the Crown chakra while you don't have a strong Root chakra.

You just scared the shit out of me I was about to open my crown chakra (or trying to actually) u u are saying about root charkra. Any easy way to open all of them, I am rather lazy.

I can confirm what said about opening Crown Chakra whitout beeing "firmly grounded" with root chakra.

It happen to my daughter. She is 38....just started on her "spirutuell travel"
She had just learned meditation, then she started with the head chakra.
She got a bright white light, but she also got a lot of voices.
It took almost two weeks to "close her down", she spoke with "ghost" and her children was always asking who are you talking to mom. (they are 5 and 8)
She have never been like this before....and this is now a year ago...and have had no more problems after she started do it right.
It learned me to be open for thing you can't physically see or explain

but how do u realise that ur process of opening the chakra may have gone wrong? cant u attribute such happpenings to some other reason?

if it's go wrong...then it's to late to jump back..for her...it started with bright light and a calm situation, then moved on....so it all happened in the same session...and it was the work to get her out of it that was long.(the people would't leave her mind)
Sure, most people will say that she recived a nervous breakdown or something like that. It's hard for me to explain the whole story...but she was helped back to "normal" by people that is very good in meditation and they all pointed out that this could happen if you not make your earth connection first.

It will not happen to all people that open crown chakra first, but why take the chanse?

Maybe this is the way some mediums take contact, maybe not....but she have never tried it agein.

Before I would try something like this, I'd like to know why I need to release pressure from my crown chakra?  Does it have any other benefits?  How about problems with this?  By the way, one way to strengthen the root chakra is to stomp on the ground and make loud grunting/animalistic type sounds.
