Sandalwood is a sedative oil that calms stress. I do not know whether this would be good for refreshing the mind at all unless what is causing the...er...defreshing is a state of tension.

What do you mean by "new resins"?
Life is short and we have never too much time for gladdening the hearts of those who are travelling the dark journey with us. Oh be swift to love, make haste to be kind.

Dear Omjit_23

Sandalwood is a grounding oil, thus not a suitable oil for refreshing and keeping the mind alert. For refreshing the mind, try any citrus oil, and rosemary. It keeps you alert. Also if you can find coffee essential oil, use it alone, it would kep you keep awake.

cheers

Essential Oils that refresh the body and mind

Post by aromaremedies » Tue Jan 18, 2011 10:41 pm

The essential oils, Rose Geranium (Palma Rosa), Basil, Peppermint (can be skin sensitive), and my favorite, Rosewood can all be used to freshen the mind. Citrus oils work well also.
