This morning I went out in the garden and saw that the jasmine was in full bloom. I rushed to the kitchen to get a glass jar and started picking flowers to make jasmine essential oil. I added some sunflower oil and closed the jar. I shall pick more flowers and keep adding them over the next 10 days or so, adding more oil if needed. In two weeks' time I'll check, and if the fragrance strength is to my liking, I'll remove the flowers, strain the oil and put it in small glass bottles. Should it not be strong enough, I may leave the flowers in for a few more days, till I deem it to be ready.

I'll check the mint and eucalyptus, but yes, you can obtain similar effects by mixing two or more substances.
Jasmin is a Taurus / Cancer herb. It helps agaist fears and eases oversensibility too. It's also considered aphrodisiac and helps for good luck.
That's what my book says, that favours dreams and visions, so I guess that if you burn it by night for example you'll probably have a very interesting night. It's used against insomnia, and I think it's also a component is oils for astral travel (I'll check it out this one as well).
