How to Update Profile?

Hi - I was just trying (several times) to update my profile (add signature, location etc) but each time nothing is changed - I mean when I submit the form, I get a confirmation message saying my info was updated, but then when I go look nothing has changed.

Any advice?

It could be your pc is reloading the old page and not using the updated one, that can happen depending on your cache and reload settings. Have you tried restarting your pc?

If you are uploading Avatar....don't make it bigger then 100*120 pixel and 6k (tech stuff)....it will not go into base even if it confirm upload.

I too have had problems with signatures....some strange behaviour there....but most if you shall change something that are added the base.

Try....and if you don't manage....ant want it done...ask for help and we can try to do it

Hmmm funnily enough I can't change my signature now, no matter what I do lol..... but the location changed ok

yes....the signature thing is strange....I don't know what does it......so you better make a "hit" on first shot

i got vishwas to do my signature.  Its funny and he sorted mine for me.

Ok - well everything took except the signature - I noticed the bb code is turned off there - maybe there is some sort of glitch in the code where if bb code is turned off then that field does not get updated in the database - someone would have to take a look at the query that updates the profile to see what is going on.

Looks like I'm out of luck. I too have not been able to update info in CP.
Email address and Signature for example ???

I have tried many time without any changes being made.

My Email addy is there because I get emails from MB. but it is not shown on my Blog, where i do want it.

What can be done ??

If you have tried the signature thing, and don't manage....send it to me and I will try to get it in for you Remember no link allowed though

For the blog thing....go yo your Blog CP beside "My Cp" and see if those boxes are made enable.
I had to dig out my blog again to see....and it display is if the mark say yes.

When you are inside "Blog CP" put reply requirement at least up to members...that way you avoid to be flooded with spam.

yea....it seems there are another bug there.....when you first have made an signature....it's almost impossible to change it

I'd like to make some changes in my registration, but I can't. I've been trying lot of times, and different days.
I'd like to change a couple of things and add an avatar. How can I do that?

For the Avatar you must not have bigger picture then 100*125 pixel  (wide*hight) (it says it upload it....but it don't)

If your birthday is wrong...(show 1 day early)  put up your birthday + 1 ( 24 =24+1(25) then the forum bug reduce it with 1 and hopefully you end up with the 24 )
