The Topic List of Forum is not Readable and its Messy.

Hi All,
I am a new User! So I am just giving my views!
The topic list on the Index page is not arranged properly.
It is having too many sections. Also to a new user it is very difficult to identify the topic and its posts.
So would it be possible to rearrange it and have some different arrangement.
~Thanks

We always like when we get people with knowledge on the site.
I see you are an software engineer and I assume you already have spotted that we use phpBB software.
I would love to see your new arrangement with this system....and since all topic have interest for our members... you must please keep them in your layout.
I am aware that there is other softwares on the marked....but this is no option for us now...so you need only to take phpBB into account.
Thank you for your effort

Could upgrade with same look and feel..
Hi,
I don't know much about phpBB but as told by Vishwas a newer version called phpBB3 is available.
So administrator could have a look at following link ,
http://www.phpbb.com/about/features/
If at all its possible to upgrade it with less effort and and which should also worth doing that...then you could go.
Thanks!

Please read the following bullet points before posting:
* Please read this post on phpbb.com.
* You can get latest phpBB 3 CVS from here.
* If you don't know php then don't bother installing phpBB 3 because you will need to fix some stuff before it will work.
* Do not use phpBB 3 CVS on public forum. It isn't finished yet.
* If you don't know how to install it on your computer then check this url.
* phpBB 3 requires the following:
Quote:
Supported databases
MySQL 3.23+/4.0+/4.1+/5.0+
MySQLi (MySQL 4.1+/5.0+)
PostgreSQL 7.3+
SQLite
Firebird 1.5+/Interbase 7.1+
Oracle
MSSQL 2000+
MSSQL 2000+ (ODBC)
Minumum PHP version required
PHP >= 4.3.3
If you dont have the above requirements, phpBB 3 is not for you. For phpBB beta versions you must use mySQL because other databases are not fully supported yet.
